fall break and some business.

i got one day off for "fall break" last week.

but boy, was it great. today (monday) was the first day i had to get up early since last wednesday.

some of the things that made last week so great:

1.] spontaneous scary movie night. the uninvited.

2.] seeing my cousin michelle and her kids.

3.] making a package of useless but entertaining halloween junk and shipping it off to georgia.

4.] getting a bunch of pictures in the mail the same day i send the package.

5.] going to a trampoline place in draper called airborne. it has dozens of tramps and a couple of foam pits to jump into. it's so much fun!

6.] eighty minutes and fifteen dollars at the d.i. equaled some sweet finds for me. such as these wolf plates.

7.] my brother kody. he's pretty much the best. i dragged him to walmart with me and to the d.i. with me and we had plenty of time to chat this weekend. it's crazy how old he is. and it's crazy how much he can relate to me. he's just my baby brother, after all!

8.] pizza, bowling balls, the mountains and a date with a boy. a cute one.

9.] seeing paige and her sister taylor and catching up with them for a couple hours.

10.] a sunday temple walk followed by some hot cocoa.

i'm a journal nut and i have been my whole life. but i've been slacking in journaling lately so i thought i'd get all these things down somewhere cuz i don't want to forget they happened.

some items of business:

• follow me please so i can see who actually reads this!
• there is a "hate ugg boots" epidemic going around. i like wearing uggs...don't judge me k?! yeah some of them are ugly, but some i don't think are! let's be honest, in the winter i pretty much wear sweats and uggs all the time. all the time. i'm not willing to give up sweats, but are uggs really that bad? really?
• what is everyone's favorite kind of gum? mine is orbit sweet mint, but last week they were out at the store so i got fruity gum. i used to get fruity gum all the time cuz it tastes so good but then i stopped getting it cuz it loses its flavor so fast. it's fun for kissing though ;).
