this is my mother. i could never properly express my thanks for all she does for me but im gonna give it a go. she works multiple jobs, cleans, does laundry, cooks, does yardwork, and is the personal manager of mine and my brothers' lives. she attends all of our sports games, concerts, and school events. she has been a huge part of me achieving my dreams and succeeding in the things that are important to me. she always gave me the extra push and encouragement i needed to excel in school, try out for a sports team, apply for a scholarship or a job, and make the choices that are best for me. there have been so many times i have wanted to give up or take the easy way out but my mom has always stood as a constant strength and support for me, and helped me to do the best and the right thing. she is my best friend. she takes time out of her extremely busy life to spend with me, even if it's just to talk. we talk about all the happy things in life, we talk about the hard things about life. she sits with me while i cry. she stays up late with me when i'm sick and can't sleep. i can think of a few times that she's taken work off because she felt like i needed her at home. she is also great to my friends. she treats the girls like her own and she has a list of her favorite boys she wants me to marry haha. she is always so supportive of me and of my brothers through everything that we do. on top of all this, my mom has a very strong testimony and a bright outlook that everything will be okay and that the Lord is mindful of me. i have been able to pull so much strength, courage, and faith from my mom and i know that it's because of her that i've made it this far. thanks mom. this woman is my hero and i love her! happy mother's day!
