meet my roommates.

i went to high school with this girl and have absolutely loved her since i've known her. we played soccer against each other and basketball and lacrosse with each other. we always had our funnest (yes, funnest. and also, this is sarcasm.) high school classes together. me and tay always laugh together and have a good time together. she has the most ridiculous humor and laughs at the dumbest things but it just gets me every time and i always end up laughing also. i am so lucky to have taylor as a friend, she has and i know always will be 100% loyal to me and will always have my back. she is also very forgiving, whenever i have wronged her she has forgiven me much faster than i thought i deserved. in some ways she is like an older sister to me. she can always give me solid and down-to-earth advice about guys, i almost always date boys my own age and she has always dated older guys, so she is many steps ahead of me in that aspect. well...i love this girl. i love all of the stupid things we laugh at together, i love all of our good talks, i love when she pretends to get mad at me. tay is getting married to the perfect guy for her this summer, and i am so happy for them! things are definitely going to change, but i know she'll always be there for me. ayyy tay chay! thanks for everything.

allie didn't live in the good old 206 fall semester. kim and i first met allie at country dancing one night and she started hanging out with us. this eventually turned into her living on our couch the majority of the time and we loved that! she moved in and has been the best addition our room could ever ask for! i seriously don't know how i could have gotten through spring semester without allie. i have always thought she is awesome for not wearing makeup and rockin sweats more often than not. i have found that it is very safe to open up to allie, she will listen and not judge. she is a fun, crazy girl, but she's also very strong and very deep. i love pulling all-nighters with her (you can always count on her to be up all night), getting food with her, and talking about our families, our missionaries, our high school friends, boys we are crushing on, our dreams of travel and future successes, and everything else. luckily als and i won't be too far from each other this summer and i am so excited to party with her! and then in the fall, she is going to russia to teach english. i can't wait to be apart of and see what other adventures this amazing girl has.samantha.
the new girl from idaho. i remember facebook stalking samantha last summer and seeing that she played basketball, which i thought was cool. on top of that she danced, was in rodeos, and is absolutely gorgeous! great, miss perfect would be my roommate, right? once i got to know her, we became such good friends. i think there are similar things about our personality that makes us get along so well. we have had sooooo many good times...getting locked out, sleepovers, creeping on boys at the gym and at the library, staying up late talking or doing whatever. if anyone in our apartment were gay, it would definitely be me and samantha. i totally have a crush on her, and we cuddle all the time. there are certain things that literally would only be able to make me and samantha laugh. i don't cry when i see other people cry...but when samantha cries it just gets me and i have a hard time not tearing up. i remember after coming back up to logan for second semester, after zach left, i walked into the apartment and i had been crying. samantha jumped up from the couch and ran to gave me a hug, then saw that i had been crying and started crying, which made me cry harder. we both started laughing and yelling at each other, "why are you crying?!" she is always very interested to know what is going on in my life and is so sweet and caring. it's crazy how i could become best friends with her after such a short time, and now we're going to live an hour and a half away from each other which kinda breaks my heart...but i know we're always going to stay friends and i'm lucky for the eight months we've lived together and all of the amazing memories we've made.becca noodle.
last january i went over to becca's for something or other. after talking to her parents for a minute, we went in the other room and i told her i had to tell her something. and i told her i was going to utah state. and she freaked, i remember her screaming and jumping up and down. and all in a blur, here we are now, at the end of our freshman year. becca and i have been besties since we were twelve, when we met in summer band before seventh grade. we've had our little ups and downs, but we've stayed tight for a very long time now and she has been such a strength to me, i know we will always be friends. we have so many good heart to hearts and i'm so grateful that we're able to figure out this crazy life together and that no matter what happens this girl will stand by me. there have been a few breaking points this past year when no one but becca would have known what to say to help me out or make me feel better. she knows me so well and she has been a very vital part of my life. looking back not only at this past year, but at my life, it seems like becca was there through the hardest times and the best of times. oh, and she laughs at all my jokes and puts up with all my sass. long live all our crazy shenanigans!
truly great friends are hard to find, difficult to leave, and impossible to forget.
these girls have been some of the most vital parts of my life at one of the most vital times in my life. they have all changed me for the better. im grateful for all of our times we've had together, and i'm grateful for what's in store for each of us.
thanks, i love you girls.
