every summer, my dad's side of the family camps at bear lake for a week long reunion. it is a huge reunion, i have second and third cousins there and this year there was something like 240 people there. it is always my favorite part of every year. this year was quite different, growing up changes a lot of things. but i still loved it. i loved being with all my cousins. i loved hanging out with my sister. i loved chasing down waves on the wave runner. i loved driving around and jamming out to our favorite music. i loved being scared for my life on the tube. i love that every muscle in my body is sore from tubing. i loved wake boarding. i loved getting stupid messages written on rocks from my brothers and kohle. i loved making kids sit in a cooler full of water. i loved sitting around the campfire listening and singing along to drew on the guitar. i even loved the craziness of the storms. i love being in bear lake and all the good memories it holds for me. it is my favorite place on earth and it will always have a very special place in my heart.
i have been sleep deprived but i am still on a buzz from the caffeine i drank tonight so i thought i might as well blog while i calm down.
as much as i love bear lake, leaving wasn't too bad because i had some pretty awesome things to come home to. my friends, my own bed, a letter from preston, a shower and a real toilet, some new followers on my blog, and one of the best and most memorable nights of my life which included going to the ben folds concert and then the last harry potter movie premiere.
after the concert i headed straight to the premiere of the final harry potter movie. i'm pleased with it besides a few parts. but let's be honest...there is one thing in the movie that made me so happy. ron and hermione are HOT!*spoiler alert* i was so so okay with their kiss in the chamber of secrets. i love them and i love that they're in love. harry's not bad either though...
here's a little bit of the joy i experienced tonight. i stole this video off of youtube but it's more or less the view i had of the stage. i'm pretty sure i can hear sam and i in the video haha.
