gorilla vs. bear

at the end of my senior year of high school, my choir went on a trip to san diego. i cherish those memories with my friends, we all had such an amazing time and it was definitely a week i will never forget. the hot subject of the week somehow became whether a gorilla or a bear would win in a fight. this debate lasted throughout the entire week. we talked about it on the bus (we spent about 30 hours, maybe more, on the bus) and throughout all the other activities we did.

the past couple of days i've been trying to figure out what topic i want to use for my informative and persuasive speeches for my speech class. yesterday i was browsing through articles online for current issues and i couldn't help but think: i wish i could just speak on whether a bear or gorilla would win in a fight. and of course, even after i had made a rule for myself that i couldn't get on pinterest, blogger, or facebook while i was at the library doing my homework, i couldn't help but clicking on the google search bar and typing in: "gorilla vs. bear". and yes, i spent about an hour reading people's views on whether a gorilla or bear would win in a fight. some people had extremely insightful and credible views, some people sounded absolutely ridiculous and it was so funny to read up on.

my means of distracting myself never cease to amaze me.
