i can't think of a better way to start out the month of october than with general conference and a pumpkin muffin this morning. today Dieter F. Uchtdorf said: "God sees you as His child. He sees you as the being you are capable and designed to become. He wants you to know that you matter to Him." hearing these messages make me feel enlightened and happy. general conference for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints will be broadcasted some more on ksl at 2:00 today and 10:00 and 2:00 tomorrow.
october is mine and bestie's favorite month! we made an october list and i am so excited to do every single thing on the list:
- go to haunted houses *nightmare on thirteenth*
- carve pumpkins
- paint pumpkins
- go to a corn maze
- make pumpkin chocolate chip cookies
- make halloween cupcakes
- make pie
- go to the HOWL at utah state
- wear sweet costumes
- scary movie nights
- go trick-or-treating
- take pictures in the leaves
- have a bon fire
- read scary stories
- watch hocus pocus
october isn't only fun because of halloween, but it marks the beginning of the holidays. i love october, novemeber, and december more than i can even begin to express. there are just continually good things coming for the next three months.
becca and i were able to go hang out with tay and scott this week. scott made us dinner cuz he's a sweetheart. i love being single and having married friends (as long as some of my friends are still single for a little while too). i love hanging out with and talking to the marrieds, it is so fun for me cuz i love 'em lots!
